Indian Rock Tree Farm

Camino, CA · El Dorado County

Home of Trees for Troops, run by the Hyder family. There is a mine and a set of Indian grinding rocks on the property, so the visit is as much an outing as a tree purchase. Reservations were required for opening weekend last season.

Call before you go. Christmas tree farms open for a few short weeks and often close early once the good trees are gone. Hours below are the most recent we have, not a guarantee.

How you buy here

  • Cut Your Own — You walk the field, pick your tree, and cut it yourself. Most farms lend saws and will shake, bale, and load it for you.
