Swift Silver Christmas Trees

A selected white fir strain grown for stronger silver colour and better form, common on Sierra foothill farms.

Swift Silver is a named selection of white fir bred for a bluer cast and tighter form than the standard type. Growers in El Dorado and Placer counties plant it heavily, so you will see it listed separately from white fir on many California farms.

Expect white fir behaviour — good retention, sturdy branches, mild citrus scent — with more silver in the colour. It commands a small premium over ordinary white fir.
